According to the latest data, as of Q3 2026, China's cumulative trade surplus climbed to 47,535.68 hundred million RMB, significantly expanding from the previous period (Q2 2026) of 39,942.41 hundred million RMB. Benefiting from strong global demand for AI infrastructure and electric vehicles, imports and exports of related high-tech products both increased, offsetting some of the pressure from weak domestic demand; however, the continuously climbing surplus scale also adds uncertainty to future China-EU and China-US trade negotiations.
