This indicator, published by the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) using data from Japan’s Ministry of Finance, reports the cumulative import value of electronic devices, including diodes, transistors, and integrated circuits (ICs), into Japan from the beginning of the year. It reflects Japan’s reliance on advanced semiconductors and electronic devices.
