China Business Climate Index (BCI) is compiled and published by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China. This index is based on surveys conducted across various industries in China and is compiled according to enterprises' subjective assessments and expectations of the overall economy and their own production and business conditions. It serves as an important indicator for assessing the health of the Chinese economy and business confidence.

The Business Climate Index ranges from 0 to 200. A reading above 100 indicates that enterprises are optimistic about the economic outlook, while a reading below 100 suggests a pessimistic view.
