This indicator measures the total annual shipment value of industrial robots across all application fields, including both domestic and export markets. Major applications include electronic insertion, material handling, semiconductors, vehicle body, loading/unloading, welding, and painting. It serves as a key metric for evaluating overall market size and value.
The indicator is updated by the Japan Robot Association (JARA) in the middle of each year.
