Description
This indicator aggregates the annual shipment volume of industrial robots across both motor vehicle and auto component manufacturing sectors. It is used to evaluate robot adoption rates in the automotive industry, the automation maturity of the supply chain, and global competitiveness in automotive production automation.
The indicator is updated by the Japan Robot Association (JARA) in the middle of each year.
