This indicator, released by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and based on China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) data, tracks the cumulative production of crossover-type passenger cars in China since the beginning of the year. These vehicles blend sedan and SUV traits and are increasingly popular in urban markets.
