Description
This indicator tracks the monthly sales volume of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in China. It is published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) based on data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), and is expressed in 10,000 units. It is used to evaluate consumer acceptance of zero-emission vehicles and the effectiveness of related policy initiatives.
