This indicator measures the monthly actual sales volume of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) in the Chinese market. It is published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) based on statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM). The data is used to analyze market acceptance and demand scale for dual-powertrain vehicle technologies.
