Description
This indicator is published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) based on data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM). It measures the cumulative production volume of all types of new energy vehicles (including battery electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, and fuel cell vehicles) in China since the beginning of the year, expressed in 10,000 units. It reflects China's NEV production capacity deployment and annual industrial scale.
