This indicator measures the cumulative actual sales volume of new energy vehicles (including BEVs, PHEVs, and FCEVs) in the Chinese market since the beginning of the year. It is published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) based on China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) data and is expressed in 10,000 units. It serves as an important basis for evaluating annual NEV demand and market growth trends.
