This indicator is published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) based on data from China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM). It reports the cumulative production volume of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in China since the beginning of the year, expressed in 10,000 units. As BEVs are the core category of China's NEV sector, this figure is an important reference for evaluating development and production capacity in the EV segment.
