Description
The secondary industry data in China's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) are compiled and released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China. This indicator measures the economic output of the secondary industry. The secondary industry refers to the mining industry (excluding mining professional and auxiliary activities), manufacturing (excluding metal products, machinery and equipment repair industries), energy (electricity, heat, Gas and water, etc.) supply industry and construction industry are important indicators for assessing the health and growth of China's industrial sector. Higher GDP in this sector indicates strong industrial activity and economic growth, while lower GDP indicates slower growth.
